I managed to rank out Bronze League Last night in 16 games - 11 W & 5 L - With over 68%, I had Very good luck with my teams, most captains will require more games. Having a composition of 6 weekly sprints - This is different from past ranked Battles in that it resets each week and one needs to consider your time available throughout the event or you may miss reaching rank 1 on one or more of these sprints - That means you risk missing out on rewards - Perhaps the Higher Leagues are not the best for you. Their damage output is significantly higher.With the arrival of the New Ranked Battles system come a variety of changes. I wouldn't discount her, but she definitely can't go toe to toe with Nicholas or Acasta (perhaps even Gremy), all other things being equal. So much of Kamikazi's effectiveness comes from her torps and concealment, and that can be countered by either playing a gunboat, or keeping her spotting with a CV. Yeah, Kamikazi will be present in numbers, for sure, but I think there are enough counters to prevent her from dominating the tier.

A CV is not going to be able to auto drop them, and low tier maps are full of cover to get safe. The Kami sisters are pretty fast, have much better turning circles than their high tier counter parts, as well as a small size and thin profile. If CVs are popular for T5 ranked then I think that the Kamikazi will be pretty well in check (with functionally no AA and only 3 smokes to break contact). T10 ranked was dominated by radar cruisers which had a knock-on effect of making CVs relatively unpopular. It's not good enough at fighting other DDs and will probably work best in conjunction with an Acasta or Nicholas. Kamikazi will have a heavy presence, but I'm not convinced it'll be dominating.
